Pennsylvania State University-Main Campus ranks first with 1,649 bachelor’s degrees in engineering in 2024–25, according to Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), 2025–26 collection.

51 engineering schools in Pennsylvania awarded 5,842 bachelor’s degrees in engineering to first majors from July 2024 to June 2025, by NCES’s count: 5th of the 51 states and DC with a engineering school. Pennsylvania State University-Main Campus awarded the most, 1,649. An engineering school here is a college that awarded at least one bachelor’s degree in any program of NCES’s CIP family 14, Engineering. The rule is broad by construction: every engineering discipline counts, and engineering technology (CIP 15) does not.
