What this page is, and what it is not

This is SBA’s record of PPP loans, and nothing more. It says what the Small Business Administration published about loans to this borrower. It does not say what the business earned, how many people it employs, whether it was eligible, or whether a loan was proper, because none of that is in SBA’s file.

A borrower here is a name and an address exactly as SBA printed them. SBA publishes no identifier for a borrower, so a business that moved or spelled its name two ways appears as two borrowers, and two borrowers who share a name and an address appear as one. Many borrowers were sole proprietors who borrowed under their own names, and this page does not say whether a name is a person’s or a business’s. The street address is not shown.

Status and forgiveness are as of September 30, 2024. A charge-off means SBA paid the lender under its guarantee. Neither forgiveness nor a charge-off is a finding about the borrower.
